3rd Annual KISS 104.1 KISS WISH Fulfills Christmas Lists for 10 Families of Veterans

ATLANTA, GA – December 21, 2021 – For the third consecutive year, KISS 104.1 (WALR/Atlanta), in partnership with The Warrior Alliance, provided ten military veteran families a holiday miracle by fulfilling their Christmas lists through the KISS WISH program.

Veterans that have been discharged from military service often experience new challenges and hardships during their transition to a civilian lifestyle.  This is where The Warrior Alliance steps in as a one-stop connection point to help veterans and their families gain access to holistic veteran care services.  As part of their program, The Warrior Alliance selected ten military families from the Greater Atlanta area as this year’s recipients of the KISS 104.1 Christmas gift campaign.  Each family provided a gift list to KISS 104.1 to assist them in celebrating the holidays through some very difficult life circumstances. The KISS Wish families also joined KISS 104.1 for a special day at Six Flags over Georgia and were treated to a holiday meal, entertainment, and a very special experience!

“The generosity and gifts provided by the Atlanta community helped 10 veteran families to share a joyous Christmas after enduring a challenging year”, stated Scott Johnson,  President/CEO of The Warrior Alliance,  “We are thankful to be partnering again with KISS 104.1 for the KISS Wish program and making a positive impact for veteran families across the local area.

Thanks to generous donations from Montlick & Associates and KISS 104.1 listeners, each family had their wish list fulfilled and gifts delivered to them in time for Christmas. The families also received a gift card from Publix to assure that their holiday will also include delicious family meals.

“Every year we do KISS Wish, it fills my heart with so much appreciation for all those who took time to help others. The Atlanta area residents, as well as our sponsors, showed up in a big way to help these families have a Christmas they will never forget. This is truly what the season is all about.” said Terri Avery, KISS 104.1 Director of Branding and Programming.

KISS 104.1 gives a very special thank you to our sponsors Montlick & Associates, Publix, and Six Flags Over Georgia.
